Bayou Cocodrie National Wildlife Refuge, established in 1992, is located in Concordia Parish, Louisiana, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south of Ferriday, 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Vidalia and 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Alexandria, Louisiana.
